     Walter Hobert Taylor, age 74 of East Point, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born January 31, 1941 in Floyd County, he was the son of the late Estill and Celia Burchwell Taylor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Estill Eugene Taylor and Oscar Paul Dean Taylor; two sisters, Patricia Ann and Anita; and on brother in law, Robert Holbrook. He is survived by his loving wife and gift from God, Judy Ward Taylor; one son, Bryan Keith (and Jennifer) Taylor of Prestonsburg; three daughters, Rhonda (and Roger) Lange of Newport News, Virginia, Christina (and Darrell) Blankenship of Paint Bank, Virginia, and Celena (and Robert) Hale of Rowe, Virginia; two brothers, Larry (and Kaye) Taylor of Prestonsburg, Daryl (and Sandy) Taylor of Wabash, Indiana; three sisters, Judy (and Kenny) Howell of Louisville, Brenda Holdrook of Auxier, and Kathy Holbrook also of Auxier; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

 

     Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Auxier Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Auxier Relocation Cemetery. Bobby Joe Spencer and Calvin Setser will officiate. Friends may visit the church after 6pm Wednesday and after 10am Thursday at the church. Chapter 18 D.A.V. Of Auxier will conduct Military Services.
